Topsy Scurvy (Non-CME)

Scurvy is back! The entity of scurvy, albeit exceeding rare, has seen a recent resurgence due to increasingly modified and restricted diets within vulnerable subsets of the pediatric population. This case presentation will feature two unique cases of scurvy requiring extensive clinical and radiologic workup. The common disease patterns within multiple imaging modalities will be highlighted and the collaborative role of the radiologist in clinching the diagnosis will be emphasized. A supplemental presentation will teach the findings and history of this disease. Now in the age of MRI scurvy is raising its scorbutous head. You won’t want to miss these timely presentations!
